Worn out, beat up, flare nuts rounded off or, god forbid – a rubber gas line from the mechanical fuel pump to the carb? Replace it with a mandrel bent steel gas line. Reduce the possibility of vapor locking with a length of included Fire Shield. Remember you must loosen the carb to install a steel gas line. Start the flare nut into the fuel pump a couple of turns then lift the carb and get flare nut started on that end. Bolt the carb down and tighten the gas line flare nuts. Check for leaks This is also a good time to change the filter in the front of the carb and the carb to intake manifold gasket. I can provide these parts also.
